"This dumpling den definitely gets my vote!"

Kreska Restaurant

"Good place for young couples and singles. We haven't had any food there, only drinks, but the menu looked rather good and their prices are really reasonable. Staff was also very pleasant. Good job on Valentine's Day decorations."

"Positives: fantastic atmosphere and location. I really loved the decor: cozy and romantic. Negativies: their food is really NOT that good. I wouldn't call it bad, but it really was nothing special. We've had 4 different dishes (2 starters, 2 main) and none of them was something to remember. They were really simple and tasted like home cooked food. Perhaps someone is into that, but I really expect more when I go out for a meal considering that the place is not cheap, reasonable prices for Gdansk though. I'd definitely recommend Red Door for a nice cup of coffee or a glass of wine, as the atmosphere is really the best from what we have experienced in Gdansk."

"Really way too expensive for what you get. Sure, I agree, the restaurant is nice and the interior is excellent, but the prices! Not what you would expect from normally inexpensive Poland (and way above Gdansk average)."

Goldwasser Restaurant

"Wie Gdansk/Danzig bezoekt, moet ongetwijfeld even langs GOLDWASSER. Het is haast een must om te pauzeren in deze unieke plaats in deze prachtige Hanzestad nabij de Oostzee, waar zo'n prachtige Vlaamse en Hollandse kunst en architectuur te bewonderen valt. Voor een etnetje is GOLDWASSER best aan te bevelen."

"Well.. the pizza was ok... but the service was horrible. When we came to the restaurant, we asked if we could dine outside. At the point all the tables outside were occupied so the waitress said that we can come inside to order and wait until an outside table gets free for us. Sadly the waitress never kept her promise. Many tables got unoccupied for a moment but the waitresses didn't want to give those for us but just gave them to newer customers. We ate the pizzas inside where it was like 30 C hot. When we left we said to the waitress that her behaviour was not acceptable. She told us that the "other waitresses said she should't give us a table outside" - presumably because we already had ordered and that way they wouldn't have to care for us so much anymore. No apologies or anything. This was the only time we got bad service in Gdansk so I suggest you to avoid this place."

"Amazing. The food was fantastic. A great taste of fine Polish food (I should know since I'm Polish). You must try their zurek (rye soup) and the bezowe ciasto (meringue cake). Beautiful view, away from the tourist spots, with a very laid back atmosphere. You can't go wrong here!!!"

Cafe Sanatorium

"Ok, here is the advice of someone who is a usual in this restaurant. Hear my words: This is for sure, the best restaurant for pasta in Sopot. Best choices are : penne salmon, tagliatelle gorgonzola. Try also the salmon with rice and vegetables if you are a salmon lover. Enjoy!"
