A fully trained, giant octopus' declares the proprietor of this restaurant, 'vomiting clouds of smoke at the bartender's order, outstretches its rapacious, green feelers' to the delight of guests. You know that you're in for something a bit different with an announcement like this. And sure enough, Wieloryb delivers on a host of counts. Poles have always had a soft spot for fantasy, and this restaurant has got it in spades. The theme is the contents of a whale's belly, but by the looks of things the whale consumed some LSD along with the passing pirate's galleon. How about food? Wieloryb dishes up contemporary takes on Mediterranean classics, with a few surprises thown in. A king's array of liquors is on hand - all in all one of the most memorable restaurants in Sopot. Open from 1 'til the last guest leaves.

Very funky - we loved this one. Hope to return to the whale's stomach again one day!

This place is certainly unique. The food, drink, and service were flawless, and very reasonably priced considering the quality. However, it is obviously the decor that sets this place apart. It should be hideously kitsch, tacky even, but it 'just works' and it's popularity is testament to this.

Oh my god!!! If you want to make your trip to the tri city complete then you MUST visit Klub Wieloryb in Sopot!!! It is amazing. I promise you will not have seen anything like this in your life. Mermaids, sea creatures, metal and madness awaits! The waitresses speak excellent english and the food is really good. Good service, good food and an amazing setting. You would be a fool to miss this. I only wish I could rate it higher than a 5!
