 | | "For the rest, if you want to eat something different as Katerina, I recommand to go to Filharmonia, the restaurant of the opera. It's quite the opposite of Cerwone drwi: atmosphere is not extraordinary (but, if you eat on the roof terrace, you will have, I suppose, an extraordinary view), but the food is creative and very good! You will have the possibility to try some elements of molecular cooking for a reasonable price.

They pretended of course that it was veal and that there were mushrooms. Like if you asked for some lobster or crab, and they served you some tuna in can, pretending you that it's lobster... | | "Positives: fantastic atmosphere and location. I really loved the decor: cozy and romantic. Negativies: their food is really NOT that good. I wouldn't call it bad, but it really was nothing special. We've had 4 different dishes (2 starters, 2 main) and none of them was something to remember. They were really simple and tasted like home cooked food. Perhaps someone is into that, but I really expect more when I go out for a meal considering that the place is not cheap, reasonable prices for Gdansk though. I'd definitely recommend Red Door for a nice cup of coffee or a glass of wine, as the atmosphere is really the best from what we have experienced in Gdansk." | Katerina

The restaurant is right next to the beautiful Mariacki Church, and has a delightful little verandah at the front where you can eat out. Prices were very reasonable for food of this quality.
