Pierogarnia u Dzika

While in Poland, eat like the Poles! Sample over fifteen varieties of hand-made Pierogis bursting with savory filling! Pierogi Ruskie (potato and white cheese) is a staple, but don't leave Gdansk without having a few Pierogi z Dzika (Boars meat) or Babuni (Grandma's recipe!) dumplings! The restaurant also serves more typical entrees, which feature chicken, tasty soups, and of course fresh fish. Located in the heart of the Old Town, its the perfect place to be seated at an outdoor table on a cool summer night. If you're looking for authenticity, which in Poland can only mean delicousness, than look no further.

Pierogarnia u Dzika

"This was a disapointment. Pierogis was not our kind of thing. The duckbrest was ok, but the vegetables was old, and boiled for to long!"

"What a delight! Visited with our children who loved the soup and the choice of pierogi is outstanding. Well worth a visit when in Gdansk and a refreshing change to the multi-National restuarant chains that serve up the usual tripe! You will NOT be disapointed."

"Me and my husband to bee LOVES this restaurant, we always have the Zurek i bread, and after diffrent kinds of pierogi, and if we have any room left it can go down a szarlotka = applepie. I give this restaurant 9,5 out of 10 possible that is as close to perfection you can get!!"

"When I told people I was travelling to Poland, my friends told me to do two things: Polka and eat pierogies. After eating the pierogies here, I don't think I'll have time to Polka...I just want to keep eating. This place is the perfect restaurant...awesome food, good prices, nice atmosphere...just perfect."
