'Just Flying Off To The Dentist...'

Germans regularly pop over the Polish border for a spot of dentistry. However, it seems that the cheaper prices are now luring folks from even further afield.

Sonja McCarthy of Nottingham, England, decided to jump on a plane to secure that crucial session in the hotseat. Amazingly, the combined cost of her flight and treatment was still over fifty pounds cheaper than an appointment with a British tooth wizard.

Mrs McCarthy flew to Lodz, a former industrial city beloved of eccentric film director David Lynch. Although delighted with her bargain session, Mrs McCarthy, like many Brits, confessed that an afternoon at the dentists is always something of endurance test:

"I'm not scared of flying but I am a bit nervous of seeing the dentist," she revealed.
