Finnair Flies to Gdansk

Gdansk is set to become Finnair's next destination in Poland starting April 2007, making it the only foreign carrier serving three cities in the country.

Mainly geared towards business and leisure travelers, Finnair's country sales director, Juhani Nuoramo, says economic growth in the region has upped the demand for a direct route to Gdansk.

Demand for flights has also meant that the carrier doubled its services to Poland last summer with added departures to Warsaw and the launch of the Krakow service.

The airline will offer four flights departing from Helsinki a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
