Ukrainian Airline In The Running

According to Puls Biznesu information, the most likely candidate to service internal flights in Poland is a Ukrainian airline.

"A few foreign enterprises, from e.g. Ukraine or UK, submitted their bids to carry out the project. Today the most advanced talks are conducted with an entity partially owned by Ukrainian State Treasury, which is not only producing passenger planes, but also provides passenger flights," said Zbigniew Salek, deputy president of Wroclaw airport and co-founder of the project. According to sources, the investor could be transport company set up with the share of State Aviation Plants in Charkov, producing Antonow planes. The first 48-person planes could take off in a few weeks. "The average price will stand at zl..300. The company intends to expansively operate on the European market and gain new clients," explained Salek.
