A Polish rescue team has been sent to Pakistan to aid in the rescue efforts currently underway in the earthquake ravenged countryside.

The team consists of 12 rescue experts and 3 specially trained dogs. They left from Gdynia's military airport on October 11th.

Radio Polonia reports that they are expected to 'search for quake victims under the debris of fallen houses.' It's a difficult and dangerous task, but these workers are willing to offer any assistance the Pakistani government asks of them.
