Recently the Gdansk Shipyard received both good and bad news from the European Union. The good news: they may not have to pay back the 750m zloty public subsidy. The bad news: the shipyard may face a strike. The owner of the shipyard, ISD Polska, is still in talks with the European Commission over its demand for the shipyard either to pay back the 750m zloty or cut its capacity by two thirds.... |
