Zoo

One of the largest zoological gardens in all of Poland, you’re sure to get a good dose of fun with a bit of education on the side. For over fifty years, tourists and natives alike have flocked here to observe the daily habits of 220 different species of animals – many of which are endangered. Tire your kids out in the “Mini Zoo” - specially catered to the younger generation, and consisting of over 50 different ‘people-friendly’ animals. You may pet and fed them, and (if you ask them nicely) they will even pose with you for a picture! Can’t get any more hands-on than that!

Zoo

"A visit to this zoo is really fun. This is the largest zoo in Poland covering over 250 acres. It is situated in a picturesque valley with many coastal beech and oak trees. You can see animals from all of the six continents including such rare species as dwarf hippos, king kondors and bongo antilopes. Don't miss the stork exhibit (common Polish bird) and pelican island. For the kids, a visit to the zoo is invaluable because they will see how the animals live in various regional habitats."
