If you're stuck in Gdynia (poor thing) and feel like having a cultural shopping experience, then get thee to Hala Targowa. Situated near the train station, this trading hall is the genuine article: post-communist Poland before the arrival of the west. Balls to your hypermarkets, amidst these tiny, packed stalls of independent traders you'll find everything imaginable from electronics to clothing to produce to pornography. Great bargains and great fun. Haggle-haggle.
